- Primary Source
Primary Source was launched in December 1999. It is designed to inform MAF staff and stakeholders of some of the activities and achievements of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
- Regulatory Impact and Compliance Cost Statements
An Regulatory Impact Statement is required for all policy proposals submitted to Cabinet with legislative implications (leading to government Bills and statutory regulations).
- Rural Bulletin
MAF published the Rural Bulletin between 1992 and early 2006. It is now published by Rural Women New Zealand.
- Situation and Outlook for New Zealand Agriculture and Forestry
Contains analysis of both domestic and international trends for many commodity groups.
- Speech Notes
Speech notes from the Director-General, delivered at various recent conferences and events.
- Statement of Intent
The SOI is a statutory document that is formally tabled before Parliament, and is the 'template' against which departments measure and report their performance in their Annual Reports. It replaces the Departmental Forecast Report.
- Statistical Releases
Forestry production and trade statistics produced quarterly and annually.
- Surveillance
Authorative source of information on New Zealand's animal health status and is published quarterly by the MAF Biosecurity Authority.
