Details of 2006/07 Forecast Expenditure
Routine replacement and upgrade of the Ministry's plant, equipment, information technology and motor vehicle fleet.
Completion of the part acquisition of AgResearch Ltd's Wallaceville campus to maintain the National Centre for Disease Investigation's services, already located on the Wallaceville site.
Continued development of an integrated document management system across MAF.
Upgrade of information systems used for emergency incursion responses.
Leasehold improvements expenditure in 2005/06 was mainly for the fit-out and furnishing of new Head Office accommodation in Pastoral House. Land and buildings expenditure was mainly for part acquisition of AgResearch Ltd's Wallaceville campus to maintain the National Centre for Disease Investigation's services, already located on the Wallaceville site.
