Financial Overview

The Director-General of Agriculture and Forestry is responsible for administering three Votes – Vote Agriculture and Forestry, Vote Biosecurity (Agriculture and Forestry) and Vote Food Safety. The total sum appropriated through these Votes in 2004/05 is $375.665 million (GST inclusive) representing $141.340 million for Vote Agriculture and Forestry, $150.239 million for Vote Biosecurity (Agriculture and Forestry) and $84.086 million for Vote Food Safety.
