Hottest Jobs In 2006
The January Hays Quarterly Forecast has been released and it reveals the hottest jobs and boom markets for 2006 in a variety of market sectors. The candidates in strongest demand in NZ are as follows:
- Accountancy & Finance. Management Accountants, Business and Financial Analysts, Internal Auditors, Assistant Accountants, Tax Specialists with two to three years NZ tax experience, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Clerks, and BAS Intermediates and BAS Managers.
- Construction & Property. Construction - estimators and intermediate project managers, Property - qualified intermediate property managers and commercial development managers, Facilities Management - operations managers and intermediate facilities managers, Engineering - shortages across the board, Architecture - project architects.
- Information Technology. Candidates with Java skills, and Candidates with Microsoft skills.
- Office Support. Legal secretaries.
