Best Dairy Trainees Sought
Dairy Farmers of NZ, an industry group of Federated Farmers of NZ (Inc) is looking for NZ's best dairy trainees. The new award is open to all trainees who have completed their National Certificate in Agriculture - Level 4 (including the specific dairy strain) or an equivalent course. To be eligible to enter, the trainee must have completed the course requirements by 31 December 2005.
Entries are split into eight regions with a winner chosen from each region. The eight winners receive an all expenses paid 8-10 day study tour to Australia in May 2006. They will also be awarded the title of regional Dairy Trainee of the Year and be presented their award at an award ceremony.
